Flexing the master head image display (8 posts)

I am trying to find out how the master head image display can be made flexible, to accommodate different heights of images.

I recently installed the rotater plugin, then uploaded a whole load of images. However, due to the content of the different images, they have ended up different heights.

I suppose I could do it the hard way and crop all images to exactly the same size, but the dimensions of the original images and subjects wont allow for that, without chopping vital content!

    Any fancy ideas?

    Thanks.

Resizing images to the same size in an image editor program?

Thanks Moshu, I am hoping that there is a little bit of code waiting for me, somewhere..

I think that Moshu was implying that you could use an image editor to scale (not crop) the size of your master head images so they fit the size of the master head image display. In the end, that would be a lot easier than trying to write code for a morphing header image display.

Thanks and agreed, but some of my images are not going to allow for that, unless I warp them!

Hoping that someone might know how...?

    I am using Rin - http://www.brokenkode.com/manji

Only would warp them because those images were only, or a little over the same width as required, (750px).

I suppose if that is the only way, then yes I will have to do it, but it would be nice to find out if there is another way.

    Thanks 8-)
