Flashplayer 10beta in linux breaks the uploader

I found yesterday a blog post explaining how to install the new flash player 10 beta in ubuntu.

Since I’m using the new version the file selection dialogue in the multiple uploader no longer opens.

And at the exact same moment in which the basic uploader disappears and gets replaced by the multiple files uploader. I get this error reported by firebug:

Use of getBoxObjectFor() is deprecated. Try to use element.getBoundingClientRect() if possible.

I’m not sure if that is somehow related.

I know since the flash player 10 is Beta software I’m suposed to find bugs like this one, and you have no obligation to fix it, but I would like to know if there is something I can do to fix it or at least to know if this has happened to anyone else.
