   Hello guys ..

   just updated my wordpress .. everything looks good and works fine but the flash up-loader is not working ..

   any suggestion or tweaks to be done ..

   Upgrade to Flash Player 10. Problem solved.

   I have a similiar problem. Clicking on the upload image button when writing a post does not show a modal window like in previous versions. Instead it loads a new page taking me away from the post writing view. I also can't insert an image I just uploaded into my post. What happened? It used to work so well.

   Hi

   I've just had the same problem as you, KingKool. I solved it by entering the full URL to my upload Folder in Options -> Misc. The default upload Folder used to be wp-content in WP 2.51, but has been wp-content/upLoads since 2.6 ... If you enter http://your_website/wp-content, it should work again.

   Be sure that you have swfupload.swf in wp-includes/js/swfupload/

   If not, download and extract it from here: http://swfupload.googlecode.com/files/SWFUpload%20v2.2.0%20Beta%203%20Core.zip

   That was the problem with all of my sites that I upgraded to my WP 2.7.

   Yep, updating swfupload fixed it for me.

   Beta 4 is already out:
