Nope, this is something completely different.
Media library uploads work fine, my php is up to date. The problem is the flash upload of Nextcellent in conjunction with plupload.
I have another possible fix for those that are willing to try.
Replace /admin/addgallery.php with this file:

Replace /admin/js/plupload.handler.js with this one:

If you do so, you will notice the option to resize is gone, but it didn’t work anyway. It will still resize images if you’ve checked the option in the settings however.
That’s it! Flash batch upload works like a charme again!

ok i’ve tested by replacing the 2 files and the Flash uploads is working again.
Any idea when these fixes will be rolled into a version update to guarantee compatibility with WP 3.9? I just discovered this plugin and want to switch to it from NextGen 1.9.13 but would rather not patch ten installations!

Niko is doing a superb job contributing with the plugin. As he said, his changes were merged with current code, along other contributions.
We didn’t launch a new version due an user found a SERIOUS issue which required attention and it is taking time & effort to close the gap.
I’m going to release a new version THIS WEEK.

Hi, please can I check as I’m confused as to whether this issue has now been resolved in Version 1.9.18 which I’ve just updated to. I’ve still got the same issue that I can’t upload any images. I have tried the fixes above and updated to this version but the problem still exists.

Yes, I’ve used 1.9.18 to replace NetGen 1.9.13 on 2 WordPress 3.9 sites so far and it’s working perfectly, thanks for all the hard work. 2 down, 8 to go…
