It's currently (roughly) 11:47 pm in the Eastern time zone. UTC time in my settings is showing as 04:56:26 am. My "Times in the webIog should differ by" is set to -5. I recently cranked it back from -4 because Daylight Savings Time ended.
If I write a new post right now (for example), it posts with a time of 11:47 pm, which is correct for me and my time zone.
But I have just under a dozen posts queued in my "Scheduled Posts" queue (mostly upcoming webcomics), and when they post, well, something weird is going on. For example, each of the posts is queued to post at midnight. The posts each show a time of "12:00:57" (for example, seconds vary) in the "Manage Posts" view. They shouldn't post until whatever-seconds after midnight, right?
Since Daylight Savings Time ended, they've been showing up on my site at 11:00. They still post with "12:00" in the timestamp on the post, but they're early.
Do the posts somehow memorize the UTC distance when they're written? Because if I was still at -4 UTC these would be posting correctly. Any suggestions?
