Fixing resizable sidebars and centre blocks

Hi there,

I’m trying to fix my blog (http://www.biglittleg.com/blog). I’ve modified Journal Winterized and have added a few bibs and bobs along the way. I’d like to fix the centre text and the right side bar so that they are not relative, but I’m not sure what to add to the CSS. I’ve done this with the centre block, but then the date line and the sidebar titles seem to be connected so that when I fix h2 at the same pixel size as the centre block (I think it’s h2), the side bar gets extended off the page.

And if someone can tell me how to exclude the border from my header, I’d be happy to know that too.
