Support » Plugin: ContestHopper for WordPress » Fix requests

  • Hi I have a few fix requests / feature requests for the future.

Is there anyway you can make this compatible with W3 Total Cache? The problem I noticed with a caching software is that time remaining feature doesn’t work correctly if you have caching enabled.

Another one is that I noticed the plugin ‘Youtube SimpleGallery’ doesn’t play well with this your plugin. It may very well be the Youtube plugin with the issue I couldn’t figure it out, but it doesn’t appear to have problems with any of my other plugins. The problem I noticed with that one is that the CSS get’s destroyed when both are active.

Also, and I’m not sure exactly how to explain this one. When someone registers for a contest and you have the double opt in thing turned on. The {url} code would send my site address without the www. added to the front of it in the email. I have in my general settings the site name etc. all set with a www. So I’m not sure where it pulls the site URL but when you try and go to the link it was sending to confirm it wouldn’t work correctly. In fact it would redirect the user to the wordpress login page. Ughh..!

Oh, and one more thing I noticed was that when I looked at MOST of these problems while being logged into the site and using Chrome it had NO problems, it was only when I opened it in IE10, Safari, or Firefox as a non logged in user. Then it seemed to melt down.
