janshimLast night I found a link that provided detailed instructions to setup WordPress on Yahoo hosts.

Everything is fine until we reached the PERMALINKS where it seems I needed to specify for the blog posts to work/show. In the Permalinks page, if I choose "Month and name" "http://shimworld.com/blog/2008/08/sample-post/" I get "Not Found
The requested URL http:// was not found on this server."
When I specify /index.php/%postname%/ in Custom Structure it works but it shows "http://shimworld.com/blog/index.php/musings" I'm used to WordPress.com blog post formats and I would like to maintain consistency in this regard. Can someone tell me what has gone wrong and how it can be corrected. None of the "Common Settings" Default/Day and Name/Numeric/Month and Name seem to work except the one recommended by the author "/index.php/%postname%/"

Also, there is one new comment in the one and only post "MUSINGS" and it doesn't show. It's an approved comment and I have not received an email notification or see it showed in the post.
