First time WP user – posts or pages???

    My site is http://tablemountainview.com/wordpress under construction…
    I need serious help with adding images to my website, can someone please help…

    1.On the Homepage, I added 3 posts. I need 3 images to be on the frontpage post,in EACH post (to open up with a nice lightbox effect) then some text underneath that.(Im showcasing 3 apartments, I chose a nice plugin Magic Gallery)
    I have inserted these images, then added a READMORE line/button thinking Readers can read more then will open to the rest of the post(which is the top menu and main menu)…the main pages right???, but nothing I do makes the images show on my HOME PAGE. I would really appreciate any help on this topic.I please need to know how do I insert image pop ups on my frontpage posts or pages??? …..If it is the post creating the problem should I insert a page to my homepage – and how do I do that????

    In short: I need to add 3 places in my front/homepage to showcase 3 images EACH and pop up. with some more text at the bottom, then those pages should open up when directed through the read more, or “clicking” on the top and main menu.

    How do I do this????
