• My friend and I like to write about video games and films/DVD’s on our website. We wanted to use something that would be flexible and would let us add content to our page relatively frequently.
So I installed wordpress and tweaked with it until we got a look that fit our needs. This was my first time messing with CSS and WordPress, and I’m pretty pleased with how it looks. I ended up using a lot of plugins and making a LOT of changes to the index.php file to make it look the way I wanted.

  • Looking good – almost getting away with it not looking like a Blog 😉
(The comment(#) link is a dead giveaway though…)
I would also suggest you spend a little bit of time with your type. For example, on certain pages, you could use some more space around the images and I always find adding line height helps people read things easier. (You have no idea how often I give that advice.)

Thanks for the advice. I’ll put something in that area to make it easier to read when the text is wrapping around the images like that.
