   Hi guys,

   I am brand new to the WordPress world and am looking to create my own WordPress website.

   Some basic questions:

   1. Do I need my own domain name?
   2. Can I use any website hosting company or does it have to be a WordPress one
   3. Can I use Dreamweaver CS4 to upload etc?

   1. Yes. You can usually purchase one through your hosting provider.

   2. You can use any hosting provider that meets the minimum requirements.

   3. Yes, but using just a dedicated FTP or SFTP client may simplify the process.
