First time user, two questions

Hi!
We have your form installed for the contact page.
Question 1: When form is submitted it should only say “Your message has been sent, thank you” instead of “I’d love to hear from you,…” as well as the confirmation. It’s on this page: http://dev.silverlininggs.com/contact/
Question 2: What’s the distinction between email and confirmation email in the Contact form settings. My client is confused and to be honest, so am I.
