    Hi There,

    I am getting an alignment issue after refreshing on the first testimonial. Once it cycles through it is fine, but on the initial slide, the author seems to get pushed onto a new line, separated from the dash... any ideas?

    Howdy dbh21,

    Hard to tell without seeing an example. Do you have a link you can post?

    I'm guessing it's got to be something in the CSS.

    Thanks,
    Eric

    Hey dbh21,

    Sorry, I was hoping for a link to a live page where I could look at the CSS. It's a bit hard to tell from the screenshot what's causing it.

    I'd look for CSS that effects the widget's div, or the blockquote element.

    If you're okay posting a link to a working page, that would be great.

    Cheers,
    Eric

    Hi dbh21,

    Sorry for the late reply; been slammed.

    I linked over to your site and can't seem to find the issue. Can you point me to the exact URL that displays the issue you describe?

    Thanks,
    Eric

    Howdy dbh21,

    Okay, I had the old site in my cache, so I wasn't seeing it, sorry.

    So far, I've checked in Chrome and Firefox and I don't see any position issues for the slides in general, but I do see that the first slide is loading the <cite> tag with a line break.

    This could be coming from the actual testimonials in the editor or formatting there.

    If you can't find it, you can try to add the following CSS - it should take care of the issue:

    .testimonial-content cite br {
        display:none;
    }

    I hope that helps.

    Eric

    Yep, that fixed the problem, thanks.

    Although now when I scroll right to the bottom, and a testimonial changes, it jumps back up? Any ideas?

    Hey dbh21,

    Aha! Took me a little bit to figure this one out, but finally got it. The fix is to add display: block !important; to the #ivycat-testimonial div in your CSS file like so:

    #ivycat-testimonial {
        display: block !important;
        font-family: 'neosansregular';
        font-style: normal !important;
        height: 140px !important;
        margin-bottom: 35px !important;
    }

    A few other notes re: your site specifically:

    1. While working in Firefox on Mac, my browser crashed multiple times when viewing your site. I didn't troubleshoot, but you may wish to do some testing.
    2. I noticed that the margins and padding assigned to some of the testimonial elements aren't quite accurate. Two examples:
      • blockquote has 20px padding that extend outside the container
      • you're setting the height of #ivycat-testimonial to 140px, but it's really more like 161px.

    I hope that helps. We have a few updates that we'll be pushing to the WP repo pretty soon.

    Cheers,
    Eric
