Here is my first attempt, Fistabull Flatulences. I started with the Neuron Theme and changed the css and graphics so that it would match my Coppermine gallery, using the Hardwired theme.

that is one neat theme man!
looks good..i had used hardwired for my theme until i got comfortable with changing all my css...
Thanks! I'm still experimenting with the css; I've almost figured out what does what, lol. Still have a ways to go, but the hard part is pretty much done.
Looks like you are off to a great start!
Great colours!! Does anyone have the javascript for the dropdown menus??
The script for dropdowns is in the sidebar.php of the Neuron theme.
You have check out the sidebar.php file as well for examples on implementing the dropdowns (and the initializations)
Please send suggestions my way for the development of the Neuron theme.
It's very... smokey looking. Nice mellow layout.
I like a little more of a buffer between the right side of your text and the sidebar, myself. The links are a little hard to see (Artifact collection and sale, Occassional soapbox, etc.) even when hovering. But the comment links look good.
A bit dark for my taste, but clean. Good WOrk
Ah I see what you mean green...I actually have been meaning to fix that, and keep getting sidetracked. Thanks for the comments!
Looks good.
Only thing I saw that you may want to look at is the drop-down for "search" The text box goes out over the right edge. Purely aesthetic though.
Nice job!
@west4me Thanks for pointing that out! I reduced the size of the search box so it renders fine now in both FF and IE.
@greenfreak1 I wasn't noticing that problem in FF, but when I looked at it in IE I immediately saw what you were talking about with the text on the right hand side. I've fixed that problem as well as changing the title links a bit. They seem to be easier to read now. Thanks for your comments!!
one question about your site, the random pictures you have showing up on your sidebar, is that using a built in coppermine plugin or did you write a script?
IIRC, it is CoppermineFetch...great script!

Looks good to me. Did you mean to require visitors to login in order to post comments?
while a little too dark in color for my taste, the theme looks good.
And I agree on the archaeology stuff.
@lawtai Yes, that's CoppermineFetch as philpeeps said. It's a really nice script!
@davincim Thanks for the commment and actually no I didn't mean to require visitors to login in order to comment....I had changed the moderation requirements so that only a name and email address were required but didn't even think about looking for the registratino requirement (found it in a differnent admin section). I've changed that so that visitors can comment now. Thanks for catching that!
Today I upgraded from 1.2 to 1.5, despite a couple of bumps it was pretty smooth. However now I am having a problem getting my comments working.
Before the upgrade, visitors could post comments without having to be logged in, I required they fill out the name and email fields. Now it will not let you post until you're logged in. I did not want people trying to register and login.
I have made sure that "Allow people to post comments on the article" checked, and "Comment author must fill out name and e-mail" is checked.
"Anyone can register" and "Users must be registered and logged in to comment" are not checked.
If you visit http://www.nitallica.org/wpress/ and try to comment on any post, it won't let you.
Any suggestions?
Looks like you got the comment part fixed, I posted a comment, and then something else happened.
If you run into install/switch over problems hurry back here, okay?
Using the upgrade tutorial from tamba2.org/uk/wordpress/upgrade/upgrade_en.html I was able to get it up properly, but now the comments are gone altogether no matter what my options are set to. :(
Let's take it a step at a time.
Do you have your old comments.php in the same directory as your default theme?
I'm hoping to keep bumping this topic 'till it draws some attention and we can all figure this out wiht you, Nita.
Okay,
Father Luke
Yes, my old comments.php is in the same directory as my default theme. (which I just noticed, btw, is still called Carrots, lol)
are you by chance a metallica fan? i *was* long ago at one point in time..
like the site! nice implentation of coppermine fetch i use it too.. great system.
the only thing is you may want to tweak the blog entry header, the blue bar.. it seems your content goes out past it on the left side. not sure if this is what your intention is....
Found the fix!! Thanks Padre! :) (I owe ya one sweetie!)

Read both of Lea's post, as part of the first one is missing, but this fixed my comments problem!
brain_rot: Yeah, I grew up listening to them and "earned" this nickname when I was young, hehe.
re: blue bar ... huh?
