Okay, so it’s my first post. How do I control where it goes? It has the URL of the homepage, But I can’t see it there. It’s listed in the sidebar under “recent posts” and “archives”, But all URLs lead to the homepage where it is not visible.

Okay I’ve got my posts appearing on the Home page as I hoped. But now that shows a summary of the post and a button that says “continue reading” which is really just a link right back to the homepage. So where can I read the rest of the post?

What happens when you click on continue reading? It should show you the entire post? What theme are you using – how the site works is partly theme-dependent. A link to your site would be helpful as well.

I think it’s a problem with the theme. I’ve been using the free theme called Expound. I just switched to Twenty Fourteen and things are working better. I’m working on this local server so it’s not accessible to the larger world ;-).

Now I’m back to the expound theme. I like the look better. I’ve posted over in the specific forum for that theme. We’ll see.
