Firefox not displaying any themes (7 posts)

I just did a fresh install after a virus/hack wiped out my old site. Everything seems to be running properly, however Firefox is not displaying any themes or styling at all. It's basically just showing the images and text. Chrome works fine, IE works fine, and I've tried both FF4 and FF5.

I tried doing a fresh install twice now and it's still not working. Any ideas?

Its not your wordpress install. The company that hosts your site is also down. I did some trace/ look-ups on your Host provider and thier DNS settings are not working. May want to look for a new host?

That's weird because my other sites on the same host are up and running fine.

Do you think it's possible that since google listed my site (hi2point5) as being infected with malware, it's causing some sort of problem?

Sorry - all sites are down - Unable to ping them + your host DNS is down. :( As for the google theory, no it has nothing to do with accessing your sites directly. :(

Well thanks for looking, that is totally bizarre as I've tried it from 3 different IP's now and haven't had any problems connecting. Either way, good to know that you can't get connected...time to look for a new host for sure. :)

If anyone else could check it out, I'd appreciate it. I've attached a screenshot here of what's showing up:

Ok - Your sites are back-up.

    1. http://hi2point5.com/ - The wordpress is not installed. You need to unzip it and then FTP to your root folder (guessing you want it as the site) - or there maybe an install feature on your admin panel via your host.. But I would look at changing hosts, as it was down yesterday for quite a while. I suggest getting some freeware on monitoring your sites, there are ones on the market that will email you when your site is down. Just a thought.

    2. The 2 comic sites are working.. and I will check them out - look GREAT!

    3. Your screen shot is from which URL?

    hehe, why thank you!

I actually did another wipe last night just as a test and left it in the separate folder so the address was http://hi2point5.com/wp/
I just checked and the theme is working so I can get back to configuring it correctly!

Here's what I think happened:Chrome gives me a "this site contains malware" warning when I try to get to it, but once I accept it runs the site fine. Firefox 4 & 5 do not give me that warning, but I'm guessing they're checking to see if the site is listed as malware before I visit and therefore are disabling everything but the basic html when I get to the page. I requested our site be reconsidered on the Google Webmaster service yesterday, but that will probably take some time before it's official. However, it showed up fine today so I think my site was delisted on some services last night.

Thank you so much for taking your time to look into this for me. I'm really glad to know that you were having problems accessing it originally as I've been questioning this host for a while now. I found some great deals on bigger hosts last night and I'm going to change over soon to make sure all of my readers can get to my site without incident.

    Have a great one!
