I am having the same issue as well with Soliloquy and Firefox.
The demo on the Soliloquy home page exhibits the same behavior. http://soliloquywp.com/ first slide displays, second does not, caption misaligned.
Displays correctly in Chrome, IE, Safari, Opera
I cannot reproduce this issue. Have you tried clearing out your browser cache? Or can you take a screencast for me so I can see the issue in action? It looks great for me on Firefox 21.
Are you sure that none of your FF extensions are causing an issue?

Hi Thomas, thanks for your response.
I have cleared my cache and have restarted Firefox with all plugins disabled. The issue still persists.
I will take a screencast and upload it to the support ticket I opened at soliloquywp.com
I’m still working to get this taken care of.
kov007z – is the issue occurring with Soliloquy Lite or Soliloquy?
I’m using your full version. thanks for looking into this.
I just tried the main soliloquy page and am also seeing the error. Just to be clear this is ONLY occurring firefox on Windows 7 and 8. unfortunately that happens to be the platform of choice for my office.
Thanks,
RK
Ok – how about trying it with Soliloquy Lite. Does the issue still occur with Soliloquy Lite? Make sure you clear out your caches before testing to remove any inconsistencies. If so, then I will know it is an image preloading issue.
You could also load the site in Firefox, and in firebug, inspect the second image in the slider. If the image SRC is still for holder.gif, that means there is something going wrong with preloading.
Yes soliloquy lite works. But i want to use the carousel and instagram options. Sorry but I dont have experience with firebug.
ok i loaded firebug but i dont know where to look for the second image in the slider.
kov007z – it would be in the second
- element. If Soliloquy Lite works, that means there is an issue with preloading then in Firefox. I will look into the issue and see if I can get it resolved.
Ok – I’ve just made a beta update and given it to a couple people to test that addresses this issue specifically. Once I hear back, I will update this thread. The preloading is now faster, more efficient and (hopefully) doesn’t have any bugs in Firefox.
Ok – I’ve had it verified by 4 people that the fix has worked, so I am pushing this update out today and solving the ticket. If it still persists (be sure to clear out your caches completely!!), open a new thread and reference this one.
your update fixed it, THANK YOU! awesome product and awesome support.
