• I’ve been developing a site (built on Thematic) for months, and it’s been displaying fine in FF, Chrome, and Safari. This afternoon, when FF updated to the latest version (29), all of a sudden it is a mess! Background colors and images aren’t showing up, fonts are the wrong color, size, and position, titles are in the wrong position, widgets are the wrong width. I cannot IMAGINE what could have caused such a huge change. And it still looks fine in both Chrome and Safari! I did read about the CSS changes they’ve made in this version, but none of those seem to apply in this case.

I am stumped and very worried. It makes no sense to me. I have checked on my husband’s computer and it also looks messed-up on his. So I know it isn’t just a problem with my settings.

Has anyone else had problems after updating to FF 29?

Also forgot to say I have gone through the FF troubleshooting including clearing the cache, trying it in safe mode, even reinstalling FF. Nothing helps. Heres’ the link to one of the pages. The background is missing from the top widget, and the rest are all out of alignment.

Feel very silly now. The problem was one extra quotation mark in the CSS, which made the entire site go wonky in FF. Guess FF doesn’t handle errors as well as the other browsers.

    we’ve all been there 🙂
go ahead and mark this as resolved 🙂
