    Hey there.

    I'm wondering how to do some more detailed editing of the comments template. I'm creating my own theme and I've looked at comments.php in other theme folders but I still have some questions.

    Is all of the editing of the comments/replies box done in comments.php? How do I get rid of the

    "You may use these HTML tags and attributes: <a href="" title=""> <abbr title=""> <acronym title=""> <b>

    <blockquote cite=""> <cite> <code><del datetime=&quot;&quot;> <em> <i> <q cite=&quot;&quot;> <strike> <strong> &quot;?</strong></em></code>
    </a>

    I don't see it in any of the code.

    Thanks for the help guys, talk to you later.

    you can also use a callback in wp_list_comments() http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_list_comments
    (example in Twenty Eleven)

    and edit the parameters in comment_form() http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/comment_form

    the 'allowed html' is a default output generated by 'comment_form()';
    to remove it:

    comment_form(array('comment_notes_after' => ''))
