Finding Plugins

    There are lots of plugins but they don’t seem to be searchable by function. How do you find what plugins do and evaluate similar ones? I am looking for several extension area:
    1- content management
    2- workflow and approval (Zensor,…?)
    3- single sign-on with other applications
    4- search and reuse of content

    I am assuming there are plugins with these functions but have not been able to find them with a search.
