I have 10,000+ comments on my weblog, and I need to pinpoint which comment was exactly number 10,000. On the comment edit screen I don't see this information. Is there a way to do this?

    Any help much appreciated.

On your Edit Comments screen, hover over one of the "edit" links for a comment. You'll find that it is a link that looks like this:
    http://example.com/blog/wp-admin/comment.php?action=editcomment&c=6697

That "c" value is the number of the comment. So plug in 10000 there and load up that link.

Note that that number increase even for spam and deleted comments and everything else. So that 10000'th comment may not be the 10000'th approved comment.

Thank you, Otto42. It's mostly a symbolic thing, so I'm okay with the fuzzy nature of the counting.
