• Hi guys…

I have just upgraded to version 2.8 and moved my blog to BlueHost… finally off my localhost!!

I have changed the necessary database entries to allow this move, but I can’t figure out how to change the old “upload” string to the new one…

I.E. I want to do a mass find and replace across the entire database… Can anyone tell me how to compile a SQL instruction that I can run from myPHP Admin that will allow me to replace ‘dogblog.blogsite.org/wp-content/” with ‘docblog.co.za/wp-content’…?

    Many thanks

  • Hi,

You can change the upload folder settings from wordpress admin area -> settings -> miscellaneous…

Make sure that you have applied 766 recursive permission to wp-contents folder in order to upload in that folder..

    Thanks,

    Shane G.
