I have a site runned with WP and it has 4 individual blogs on it. Why 4 blogs? Well one is a Home page with updates and the others consist of separate Projects, one being a podcast that can be downloaded through iTunes, ect.
The home page doesn't get much love though because the other project pages get all the updates. I would like to have 4 blogs be one but have a filter separate the projects to their own pages with there own links and with there own RSS feeds. So if I update the podcast, it will be announced on the home page and iTunes can pick it up with out grabbing other projects which are also media files.
So is there any way to do this with maybe Tags and/or Categories? Anything but individual blogs with different log-in screens for each?

let me know if my situation isn't clear.

hi - yes, you can assign each "blog" to its own category, and have the page for that "blog" display only posts from that blog category.

the home page would display posts from all the categories

You can have category RSS feeds in WordPress

"You can also provide feeds to only specific categories on your site by adding the following to the end of the link:
    http://example.com/wp-rss2.php?cat=42
    or
    http://example.com/category/categoryname/feed

    See this page

    and also this
