Filter out own trackbacks (3 posts)

    Hi;

    Is there a way to make sure trackbacks from my own site don't get shown? For a similar question, someone gave this link:
    Separating Trackbacks and Pingbacks

    Is there a way of editing that to suit my needs? Unfortunately, I lack any PHP skills. Thanks!

    Where exactly are you trying to avoid displaying trackbacks? Are you actually sending trackbacks to your own posts?

    If you meant pingbacks, when linking to a post on your blog, make sure not to use a fully qualified web url:

    Sends pingback:
    http://your.site/your/post/

    Does not send pingback:
    /your/post/

    For your second Q, I don't currently know of a plugin solution for this.

    Thanks - relative URLs works great.
