    Hi, i had problems with installing every kind of plug-in and updates to my supernova theme so i decided to update the WP 3.5 to 3.7.1 trying to solve the prob. I did it using FileZila cause it didn't work using the WP dashboard but now on my site i have white screen with wp-settings.php missing file. The fact is, that this file is uploaded. But about 300 files never complete upload using FZ. And it's alwayes wp-icludes directory.Please help!I'm new in WP!Thanks

    The fact that the wp-includes folder always fails leads me to believe that the permissions or/and the ownership of the folder are not correct. Use your FTP client to change the permissions of the folder to 755 and try to upload the missing files/folders again. You can check the following link for more details how to use an FTP client to change the permissions:

    http://www.siteground.com/tutorials/ftp/ftp_chmod.htm

    If you don't have access to change the permissions ask your web host to change the permissions and ownership for you. They can use the following commands to recursively change the permissions:

    find ./your-WordPress-folder -type f -exec chmod 644 {} \;
    find ./your-WordPress-folder -type d -exec chmod 755 {} \;

    If this doesn't work you can try to restore the site from a backup and then attempt to re-upload the latest WP package.
