• My earlier question was about editing an active plugin and it messed up and then I keep getting an error message. So I got some advice to use FileZilla and go to the site and then rename the plugin and it will resolve the problem.

    But now, when I try to access it, here’s my FileZilla message:

    Status:Connecting to [IP ADDRESS]… Error:Connection timed out Error:Could not connect to server Status:Waiting to retry… Status: Delaying connection due to previously failed connection attempt… Status:Connecting to [IP ADDRESS}… Error:Connection timed out Error:Could not connect to server Status:Waiting to retry… Status: Delaying connection due to previously failed connection attempt.

    How do I fix this? :O

  • Have you configured Filezilla correctly ??
    Alternatively , almost all hosts give access to your files via you web-browser (file-manager) .

    Yes, its configured correctly, as I recently did it.

    The connection via FTP with your host is independed from WordPress . Get in contact with the customer-support service of your host .
    Have you tried an alternative connection method , as almost all hosts allows access to files via a browser (like cPanel’s file-manager) .
