Okay….this is just and “off the cuff” idea…there may be better ways, but…
You could put links to the files in the dashboard and make your registered users subscribers. That way, they will have access to them when logged in, but the general public won’t see them.
Keep in mind though, if you upload the files in a public place (like public_html), people could still stumble across them–pick them up through a Google search for example.
If you want to make sure no one can get to them by browsing the web, then you would need to put them in a password protected directory (and maybe include the password in the Dashboard for your registered users) or place them outside the public_html folder….but then you would need to figure out how to link your registered users to them and I don’t think WordPress has that feature built-in.

Hey ekusteve – Thanks for the reply. I knew that would be the case… putting the files into a password protected directory and include the username and password in the dashboard. I was just making sure there wasnt a more creative way of doing this.
