file timestamps not preserved when installing plugins

    When installing plugins via the “Install Plugins” page, the timestamp of the installed files is always reset to current time. Other than manually installing plugins, is there some way I can preserve the original file timestamps?

    Manually would be the way to go. And guess you will want to manually upgrade those plugins in the future also.
