mattbaehrI have read numerous posts on this, but still no joy.
I used cPanel to install 2.7.1. However, in the default install, it wouldn't let me one-click update to 2.9.2. It also wouldn't let me edit the default theme css file.
I fooled with the permissions, but only 777 lets me update the css file. And even then, when I go to update changes, it asks for my connection information (FTP login info).
So I uninstalled and did a manual install of 2.9.2. Same issues occurring (minus the update part since I installed the latest version).
I have done dozens of installs before and never once had this problem. I am sure it is something on this host's end, but I am not sure what. Please help.
