   I know what I did: I was changing a simple file permission and accidentally changed file permissions of my who install.

   Endless troubleshooting has gotten my back to where the front end of the dashboard seems to function correctly. However, I cannot figure out what has happened to my new/edit post features. When I am in New post, the WYSIWYG editor does not come up and none of the links work for adding pics, adding feature image, etc.

   I tried re-installing WP 3.01, but that had no effect.

   Please, please please help. Major screw-up here. My site is a pretty high traffic site with 12 writers and my writers are going to lynch me. Heh.

   Update: changing all file folders under JS in wp-includes to 755 fixed the WYSIWYG problem, however, the links for inserting media and pics as well as Feature Image still do not work. The link attempts to load, then no window pops up or anything - no error given. Also the formatting section in WYSIWYG shows "advanced.block" "advanced.paragraph" etc.

   Getting closer... Still has to be a permissions error.

   Try changing all folders to 755 and all files to 644.

   Ok so all my folders and files are as told.. but still having issues as well
