File attachement widget

I am looking for a plugin that does exactly what “Attach Files Widget” does, but I want to be able to set how many of these attachments I want to see. That way I can have a short list of say three attachments for download in the side bar, but then also a button below that allows the user to go to a dedicated page listing all attachments available.

Does anyone know a plugin that could work like this?

This attachment widget is used in multiple areas on the site (sidebars, homepage..)

I am trying to keep it as simple as possible for the client to only have to add an attachment in one spot, but then have it populate the rest of the widgets areas. I basically need it to work like a recent posts widget, where the user creates one post but then I can set a widget to say “show the 3 most recent posts” in this widget area and “show the 5 most recent posts” on this widget area

any help or suggestions would be appreciated!
