File as Photo: doesn't work (2 posts)

    I checked the "File as Photo:" because I'm using timthumb.php to handle my large image.
    I noticed in inline JS output from the plugin there is no photo:true or even a photo:false.. for that matter... is it possible the authors forgot to hook this part up?

    when i try to see the image the window just renders the image as a string since i'm passing it a .php extension via timthumb...

    any ideas?

    I just ran into the same issue and concluded the same thing you did. It looks like that setting isn't actually hooked up anywhere. To get around this I just edited the jquery.colorbox.1.3.32.js file. Just look for

    function isImage(url) {
    		return settings.photo || /\.(gif|png|jp(e|g|eg)|bmp|ico)((#|\?).*)?$/i.test(url);
    	}

    and change it to

    function isImage(url) {
    		return settings.photo || /\.(gif|png|jp(e|g|eg)|bmp|ico|php)((#|\?).*)?$/i.test(url);
    	}

    This will tell the script to treat php files as images. Keep in mind that this will be reset when the plugin is updated. Hope this helps.
