Register Plus Redux
[resolved] fields not saved in database (5 posts)

I've created a form, but the fields are not saving in the wp_usermeta database when a user registers.

The username field is also showing, when I select the "new users will not be asked to select username..." box

Also, no email is sent to the user on registration.

If I enter the data through the back-end, it does save in the databse - so appears to be a problem with a link from the form to the database.

Therefore seems to be a conflict with the standard registration???

    Please help to resolve this.
    Thank you!

Yes, though I resolved it through trial and error.

The plugin was conflicting with another one (in my case a custom page editor plugin) and hence the form data wouldn't save. Not sure if there's an easy way to work out where the conflict lies other than trial and error.

    What was the conflicting plugin?
