WooCommerce Checkout Manager
[resolved] Field translation in email with qtml (11 posts)

This is a great plugin. But to sort out woocommerce multiple language support with qtranslate, I am using it together another plugin called qtml (http://www.somewherewarm.net/apps/woocommerce-qtml/).

Everything is working well except for the confirmation emails sent out to the client and shop owner. The labels of the custom fields are not translated and instead reads something like [:en]blabla[:fr]blablabla.

On the site confirmation page, the fields added with Checkout Field Manager are properly translated though.
According to qtml plugin dev, it might be that the code for email sending is not passing the output through a gettext __( $string ).

    Any idea?

    Thanks.

    Hi,
I got my dev to fix it by editing the sod-woocommerce-checkout-fields.php file.
I could send it to you if you want to compare with your fix.
    Regards,
    Julien

I didn't find how to post a file on here.
So you can get it from https://www.dropbox.com/s/3r6987amtggak0e/sod-woocommerce-checkout-fields.php

Sorry for later visitors but eventually that link won't work.

I didn't try your beta as it was working already and didn't want to break it.

Also I now got time to look at the code you sent, and its not mines, it is from 61 extensions, which suppose to be a paid plugin.
