Hi
Just today I experienced quite a few problems with the Admin panel of my site...
1) I cant upgrade any plugins! It gets stuck at Upgrading 1/2 plugins, and then my site goes into maintenance mode (no problem, just delete the .maintenance file via ftp)
2) then after deleting the file, I went back to the admin panel and this happened: http://tinypic.com/r/28tgx3b/7
any idea what to do?
a little more info, i migrated the site from a different folder not too long ago, but i had no problems doing it... only today i had this problem...

i have also tried reuploading a new copy of the admin folder from the original zip file dl-ed from wp.org.. but it still doesnt work...
Have you tried:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

i've tried
deactivating all plugins - doesn't work.
activated 2011 - doesn't work.
reset plugin folder - doesn't work.
anything else?

could it be some htaccess problem? or a server issue? or a browser issue? it looks the same regardless of IE, FF or chrome...

Best you describe the problem. The site looks ok in IE9.

Your dashboard is missing the style sheet.
Probably one of these:
/wp-includes/css/admin-bar.css
/wp-includes/js/thickbox/thickbox.css
/wp-admin/css/wp-admin.css
