• Hi everyone, having a big problem and really hoping someone can help!

I am using the latest update for FeedWordpress on WP 3.9.2 and have been using FeedWordpress on my site successfully for quite a few years. Now, without changing anything on my site, the permalinks for syndicated content are coming back to the url of the post page instead of the url of the original site the content is published on. The result of course is that when someone clicks read more it just refreshes the page rather than going to the original site to show the full article.

I have thousands of posts aggregated like this and my blog is a busy site, so this is a bit of a disaster for me and I desperately need to fix it asap.

Grateful for any help anyone can provide…

    Kelly.

There is a setting in FWP that allows you to change where the post directs. Maybe when you upgraded that setting got reset. You should make sure this is changed and set correctly on **both** the FWP overall and on the specific feeds too.

Hi WPChins, thanks so much for trying to help. However the settings are correct and it still is not working. My blog pages with aggregated content form feeds is saying that the source is my blog and therefore the read more permalink still just refreshes the same page.

    Hello kswaters.

Best I can do is to give you old “version 2013.0504” from my own backup. Here is a link to .rar archive. Please let me know when you get the file and I’ll delete it from there. If you not get it in 3 days it will be deleted authomaticly.
    Good luck.
