I run about 20 self-hosted wordpress blogs and have noticed that after installing WP-Super-Cache (and before doing so), the most resource intensive (CPU) files on _any_ wordpress site is the /feed/. Is there any way to:
- cache it?
- improve performance
I suspect the easiest solution is to cut down the number of posts per feed. Also, I have moved a lot of them to Feedburner, but still find a ton of CPU use comes from /feed/.
