feedread not limiting description characters in multifeed???

    hello,

    i’m currently using feedread and it’s feeding my rss stuff just fine, but for some reason it’s not limiting the description output to the set number of characters? any ideas? i’m nearly certain i have it entered correctly in the declaration.

    how about posting the call here, or drop me an email at cgcode at chait dot net if you want some direct help. It should limit the description output IF you aren’t using HTML entries. For HTML, there’s no way to currently limit (the same reason rss excerpts are mostly plaintext…) — balancing tags is painful.. 😉

    is there anyway to “strip” the html down to straight text first? then limit it?
