Seeing as http://digiupdates.com/feed/ works, it’s something to do with FeedBurner.
It even validates http://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fdigiupdates.com%2Ffeed%2F
Check your .htaccess and your server firewall to see if you’re blocking feedburner anywhere.
Hi Ipstenu,
I have never made any changes to .htaccess file or server firewall and I asked one of my friends to have a look and told that everything is ok with the files. Am still not able to understand why it is happening.
Your feed works fine for me both http://digiupdates.com/feed/ and http://feeds.feedburner.com/digiupdates address.
But your site has some issue with title, you should fix that.
Whenever you face any issue with rss feed update or validation issue look for php blank space issue in your theme file or function.php, some time it occured while uploading new theme via ftp or uploading some files.
Use this plugin if you cant find it your self
https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/fix-rss-feed/
Ping feedburner
http://www.feedburner.com/fb/a/ping
Try now.
BTW I tested from basic firefox for linux
http://feeds.feedburner.com/digiupdates isn’t showing anything past Aug 14th though, so we KNOW that ain’t right 😉
The thing is, the FEED validates and shows correctly outside of Feedburner, so it’s probably not anything directly to do with the feed, but something with how your site is talking to feedburner.
It’s been a while since I’ve used it, but I thought FeedBurner had a troubleshooting tool. Does that say anything besides “An error occurred connecting to the URL: unknown error”?
Also, are you using any FEEDBURNER specific plugins?
Nopp, I am getting only this error and am not using any feedburner specific plugins. I had not changed a single thing on my website since 3 weeks.. Most probably I would have updated my wordpress version on that day. But the issue is only with me not with my friends.
What do you mean ‘only with me’? You mean you’re the only one having this error with your site, or … ? That was worded a little weirdly.
Nothing in WP should do that, though a Google pulls up people having this problem going back a couple years, and it seems to be a problem with FeedBurner’s data pull.
By saying me I referenced in my friend circle and if the problem is old and is associated with data pull then what is the solution to it.. Is there any alternative way for this???
You can google the error message, same as I can.
But. The problem is with Google, and as far as I can tell, they’ve not fixed it :/
yeah.. thats the main problem.
I had google it before and it did not find a solution thats am here.. If by any chance you have any solution or advice please post it here
