I recently have been having a problem with my RSS (feedburner). I'm getting the message:
error on line 189 at column 1: Extra content at the end of the document
I've doing some digging around and what I've read all signs point to a possible hack. Although, I haven't had a lot of the symptoms like some people (i.e. redirecting to another site, not being able to open homepage, etc).
The only things I've encountered have been my virus program blocking an attack on my pc when I visit my homepage (which leads me to believe I've been hacked...only got the alert using firefox)and the error message when clicking on my RSS chicklets.
I'm pretty sure I eleviated the virus attack (hopefully) by deleting suspicious codes, but my Feedburner hasn't been fixed.
A few questions:
When the error says a certain line and column does that mean to look at the overall site source code?
Would deleting the current feedburner RSS feed and creating a new one correct the problem?
If you've had experience with feedburner and this error message your advice is welcomed
