I thought about adding Feedburner to my WordPress site.
The last update for the recommened plugin was WP 2.5 (from here http://www.google.com/support/feedburner/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=78483)
and I read later that there were glitches when that plugin was installed with later versions of WP
The Feedburner help group didn't seem to have much to say about Feedburner and WordPress - recent unanswered posts for example here
http://groups.google.com/group/feedburner-services/search?group=feedburner-services&q=wordpress&qt_g=Search+this+category
One of the latest posts I could find in the Google Help Group suggests that updating sites with existing FeedBurner feeds could cause problems http://groups.google.com/group/feedburner-statistics/browse_thread/thread/21d91ff55ae65bac/76ab36701014fff9?lnk=raot
The WordPress codex here http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_FeedBurner suggests this link http://forums.feedburner.com/viewtopic.php?t=17 which basically goes nowhere (just a generic help group page)
Meanwhile this other plugin seems to have run out of steam in December 2008

Overall I get the following impression: Google has bought up Feedburner but doesn't offer actual support, has bought up? the relevant plugin that used to work but finds that putting work into the plugin is not cost-effective when it's used to a massive ROI, isn't too concerned about WP fitting in nicely with Feedburner, and finds that FeedBurner stats overlap with Google Analytics and that maybe Feedburner should be allowed to quietly lose some of its more useful features.
Meanwhile on the WP side there's confusion and a lack of enthusiasm for trying to integrate with FeedBurner.
Is it even worth trying to integrate with Feedburner any more?
I sound frustrated because I thought it would be simple.
