I've been working on this design--but I don't fancy myself a designer. Just a girl tryin' to save a buck, learning as I go. All criticism very welcome, I'm eager to make this a catchy/memorable design.
Specific question: That flower in the header. Should it stay or should it go? I've nothing better. I may be able to play around with lines and rectangle tools, but an illustrator I am NOT.

I'd probably ditch the flower, myself.

Ok, thanks y'all. I've played with the flower some, and I think it's a little better. I've been messing with some nasty feed problems, but I think I'm finally going to go ahead and announce the site on my other blog and get going. Any other feedback, still welcome!

I think that flower in the logo looks quite nice!
