   I like the strong header and footer. Perhaps a little too big? Maybe, maybe not. I would suggest labeling the search box though, it took a bit to figure it out... nice work

   I think it looks a lot better just using the #F5FAC7 you have for your body CSS tag instead of the stripe image. The lack of contrast between the stripe background and the white of the content div hurt my eyes.
