Feedback?

So I finally got around to setting up wordpress. Although it’s not quite finished yet and a few things aren’t fully functional (such as the rss feeds), as far as layout goes I think this is enough to give you a general idea as to what I’m going for.

Yes, this is yet another bastardization of the Kubrick layout, but before you start groaning, at least give me the benefit of the doubt for trying to be at least a bit original.
Even though it’s not done, I’d appreciate some commentary, so go ahead and tell me what you think.
