I have RSS Multi Importer, Version 2.67.2. Great program ! Does the beta above fix some of the issues with my current version and do I have to delete the old version to install the beta ? Will I loose my setting if I do ?

the beta version has all the features and fixes as the current program (2.56.2)…it just uses custom post types and imports feeds in the background. If you want first hold on to your settings before upgrading, do this:
watch this video for how to comment out the uninstall file before deleting the current version (make sure you delete the current version before uploading this one).

The 2.68 Beta version works great. Only one issue.
In my multi site network, only one site could able to pull the Categories of Custom Post Type under AutoPost Settings, rest of my network sites could not able to pull the Categories of Custom Post Type, instead it shows the Categories of Blog Post. Network wide Settings are the same.
Where am I made mistake? Kindly advice.

In theory, with wordpress multi user, every blog instance has it’s own database, which the plugins put the data in (so each instance should be separate). I’m not sure what is going on with your installation.
This is a multipart question so if I need to break it up into separate support request just let me know.
I downloaded the beta with custom post types and its good. Will this be possible? Since this is multi feed importer can the ability to choose post type be on a per feed basis? I have been using a music theme that has several custom post types and was hoping to have an auto updater to more than one post type.
Also is it possible to have plugin to include a custom field option? Theme ask to have video url in a custom field. A lot of post use custom fields these days.
These may be more of a request than support, but if I could be pointed in the right direction I try a little php

hello, at this point, it’s not possible to, say, have one feed assigned to a specific post type (and customer field, etc.).. that may be something for the future but I’ve not had anybody else ask for this level of specificity. You would have to rewrite the feed page to include the options you for each feed, then rewrite the import to choose each feed and specify the post type, etc, for each feed…not too difficult to do, but time consuming.
