Hi,
my RSS feed always gives just the summary of articles, with ... after the first few lines. This is despite in the "Reading Settings" page having the "Full Text" option selected. I am using WordPress 2.8.4 with the "FeedBurner FeedSmith" plugin, but I don't think that is truncating the messages.
is there anything I am missing?

I think I have maybe got to the bottom of the issue after doing more forum searching. I've changed my feedburner config to point to:
http://www.wordandspirit.co.uk/blog/feed/
instead of
http://www.wordandspirit.co.uk/blog/feed/rss
the feedsmith plugin was redirecting all calls to feeds to http://feeds.feedburner.com/wordandspirit but I have temporarily disabled this plugin while I narrow down the problem.
I'll need to wait and see how this behaves next time I post something as I think feedburner may be caching the summarized posts.

The source code of your RSS feed shows that the full text of articles is being included. However, you need to bear in mind that some RSS readers apply their own summarisation rules, so you may not always see the full post content on the screen.
