I have encountered an issue with my feed since I upgraded to WP 2.7. I was on 2.6.3 version and moved my feedburner feed to feedproxy.google.com with 2.6.3 and this combination was was working fine.

However now I have upgraded to version 2.7 and the feed stopped working. When I click to subscribe I get an error message that states:

    Bang! Kapowww! Krakkk!
(FeedBurner encountered an error while trying to bring you this feed and is now keeping its head down. Details follow.)

    Feed Address: http://feedproxy.google.com/vikitech

    HTTP Error Code: 502

Detail: There was a problem retrieving the feed: Error getting URL: 404 - Not Found

My comments feed is working fine.
When I ran the feed through the validator I am getting a message that says:

Server returned HTTP Error 502: There was a problem retrieving the feed: Error getting URL: 404 - Not Found

I am using the feedburner feedsmith plugin and tried deactivating that, but It didn't work.

I have even removed all the spaces as well as ?> from the end of my wp-config file as suggested by Otto here:
http://wordpress.org/support/topic/230288. Unfortunately it didnt work as well!

Currently I have disabled the feedsmith plugin.

I have searched on the net regarding the same issue and I see a lot of guys are facing the same issue, not many have posted here though.

Can someone please help me out? Its a real difficult situation if a blog doesn't have a working RSS feed...Any suggestions please?

You have not disabled the feedsmith plugin, because your feed URL (which is http://www.vikitech.com/feed ) is still redirecting me to the Google feedproxy.

I can't help you if it's still redirecting, because I can't see your real feed when it's doing that.

However, the feedproxy address that it redirects me to does have a feed there, with your first post from your site in it. So as far as that goes, it appears to be working properly.

I don't use any feed plugin but I still found an error

While trying to retrieve the URL: http://www.profitableguide.net/feed

    The following error was encountered:
