• Hi. I’m using the Revisionary plugin that enables users with the role of “Revisor” to edit posts.

With FEE installed these users aren’t allowed to edit posts in frontend for some reason. The edit button appears, but when clicked it says “Insufficient Permissions”. How can I sort this, or do these plugins not like playing together.

The posts I’m trying to edit are custom post types.

  • Hey annakyn, did you ever get Revisionary working with FEE?

I figured out how to display revisors (add manage_options & activate_plugins capability), but can’t seem to get FEE to submit edits as revisions. It always just changes the front-end.

Would love to hear from someone who implemented the two successfully.

    Hi Scribu,

Any suggestions on getting Revisionary setup with FEE? Have you done it before? I have Revisionary working on the backend, but can’t get it to work on the front-end. Thanks!

I have never used Revisionary. I assume it’s doing some additional capability checks which clash with FEE.

I would suggest asking the author of Revisionary about this as well.
