   Hi,

   does anybody know of a way to have a "featured user" on the frontpage where I coul display a short bio (from the userprofile). Is there a plugin that can do this?

   edited to add - I haven't actually tried this plugin, so it may or may not be what you need. Hope it is, though! :)
