Hi! Please help and bear with me (i am new at this and teaching myself). I am using the simple catch theme and I do not have the option to edit my feature slider image! I have created a "test" post with an image; using that image I created a slider, which is visible on my website. However, the picture itself is cut off and slightly distorted. So I followed the instructions which advised to download the plug in "post thumbnail editor". I did that successfully and activated it. Next, it said to go to the post, click edit, then click upload insert and go to the gallery. In the gallery go to post thumbnail editor and select slider image and crop it. This is my issue, I do not have a slider image option in the post thumbnail editor (I see the slider on my website but not in the editor). I logged off my website logged back in, uninstalled and reinstalled plug INS and made sure my wordpress was updated. Still nothing. Please help! I am not sure if it matters but I am using windows 7.

Have you tried doing a different Slider? The Promotion Slider plugin is the best one I've found. It can be added to any page via short code or hard coded into your theme.

  4. @CellaScarpi: xhorne is using a theme with a built-in slider and is waiting for the theme developer to check in the forums or someone with direct knowledge of the theme.
